Our Academic Advisers communicate with students weekly to offer invaluable information on how to make the students more marketable to universities. Students are taught how applications are evaluated and what an admission counselor is seeking. Students are also given insights into important social skills that will be helpful to students' success once they enter college.
Dorm Teachers
Cornerstone invests incredible amounts of time and energy into all our programs, including the honorable task of serving as a guardian for our students when they are away from home. Our Dorm Teachers play a role in this immense responsibility, fully committed to the safety and wellbeing of each student, while ensuring the students have an enjoyable stay with Cornerstone. It often requires long hours and is a thankless and selfless job in many respects. We therefore always appreciate the work they do.
House Moms
Auntie Jin Auntie Mei
To some extent, our House Moms share our Dorm Teachers' responsibilities, but are the students' true MVPs when it comes to their room & board. They spend hours to prepare everyday's meals and to ensure the cleanliness of our dorms. If a student is sick, our House Moms are there to fix him/her up! They reside with our students and ensure they follow Cornerstone's house rules.
