Dorm Management

New 2+2 Model It is hard to mend mistakes and opportunities lost during a child’s development. Cornerstone Education therefore aspires to create an American family for middle and high school students studying abroad and to cultivate them into successful individuals. At Cornerstone Dorms, we provide 2-3 GYM activities night weekly, weekly board game night, weekly shopping trip, study hall, and monthly cultural enrichment activities in order to help the students immerse within the American culture.   For detail about our student management system, click Here

There is a full-time House Mom managing the students’ everyday life, helping them develop their independence, and cultivate self-discipline. While she provides delicious and healthy home-cooked meals, she also adheres to Cornerstone Education’s discipline and point system, making sure students abide by them as well.  

While the Cornerstone house mom manages the students’ lifestyle and nutrient intake, the Dorm Teacher manages their academics, health, and all dorm activities. He or she supervises the students and takes them shopping, exercise, and to the doctor’s if necessary. 

Cornerstone Bridgeport Dorm

Located in the Bridgeport community, only minutes away from downtown and Chinatown. Students can easily walk or take public transportation to some of our partner schools such as St. Therese Chinese Catholic School, De La Salle Institute, etc.

Cornerstone MPA Dorm

Located next to the Morgan Park Academy Art Center inside the campus. Room types include single and doubles. Room selections are based on the student’s grade and age. There are usually 4 students per bathroom. Below are images of the housing interior and exterior.
